Compact Home Lifts are pleased to announce we are now an official provider for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
As a registered provider of the NDIS, we are approved to supply ‘personal mobility equipment, home modifications and assistance products involving care and/or safety’ which includes our range of residential lifts to individuals qualifying for the scheme.
The NDIS pays for necessary supports that someone with a disability needs to live as independently and normally as possible and achieve their goals. The scheme is implemented by the independent organisation National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) and is available to people living in Australia under the age of 65 with a significant or permanent disability.
Damien Boyle, managing director at Compact Home Lifts, said: “At Compact Home Lifts we are really proud to become a registered provider for the National Disability Insurance Scheme as our lifts can enable people’s homes to be truly accessible.
“Compact home elevators can help to transform the life of someone with mobility difficulties and under this scheme many more people will be set to benefit. Our sales staff are very happy to help with any advice needed regarding our range of residential lifts and how we can support them to live a more independent and better quality of life.”
A Compact residential lift is easy to install as it requires no major building work or hydraulics, no lift pit or shaft and can be installed within one day which minimises the disruption made to the family home. In addition, our Compact home lifts are quieter than many stairlifts and sleek in design.
The lifts plug straight into a standard 10amp power socket and travel through the floor on self-supporting rails. These special features mean our home elevator can be located almost anywhere in an Australian home which makes it a perfect for creating a fully accessible Aussie home. We supply the Compact Elegance Home Lift and Compact Plus Home Lift.
